Sizing Note: Alpinestars warns that any Tech-Air 3 System smaller than size SM must not be worn under your jacket and should only be worn OVER your jacket.

Note: Read the entire user manual prior to operation. The Tech-Air 3 Vest can be worn under any properly fitting textile jacket, keeping in mind that the jacket must be large enough to accommodate the expansion of the airbag in the event of a crash. For textile jackets, riders need 4cm of additional space around the circumference of the body. Riders who wish to wear a leather jacket that is not Tech-Air compatible must be sure that the leather jacket has an additional 4cm of space around the circumference of the entire body. Riders can also pair the Tech-Air 3 Airbag Vest with any Alpinestars Tech-Air compatible jacket that features airbag expansion panels. Not intended for use with heated riding gear. Heated gear exceeds the Tech-Air 3's upper operating limit of 122° F.

ttCutting Edge Technology

ttThe Tech-Air 3 comes equipped with the Tech-Air 5's Street crash detection algorithm, which leverages A.I. to accurately determine when to deploy the airbag in the event of a crash. Additionally, the Tech-Air 3 utilizes six integrated sensors to provide the best crash monitoring performance and active airbag protection in a variety of dynamic street riding scenarios, even when stopped. This combination allows the Tech-Air 3 System to accurately assesses when to deploy the airbag ahead of an impact, or other dangerous situation like a lowside or highside crash. The system will activate the protective airbag in milliseconds depending on the size of the airbag. Once inflated, the airbag provides full upper body protection, keeping you safe by uniquely covering your full chest and back. The Tech-Air 3 features an integrated back protector pocket as an additional safety feature (back protector sold separately).

ttIntuitive Monitoring System
