Cylinder Works High Compression Kits are a high-performance cylinder kit that boosts compression while correcting worn cylinders. High Comp Kits include all new - not remanufactured - OEM replica piston(s) of the same bore with higher compression than stock. Kits also include cylinder(s), rings, gaskets and hardware required for installation. Pistons are heat treated, T-5 hardened and tempered replacement units supplied by Vertex. Pistons come in either cast or forged designs - dependent on factory spec - with molybdenum disulphite skirts. Supplied cylinder sleeves are diamond honed to the exact bore dimension and proper surface finish to ensure proper ring seal and oil retention. Cylinder Works High Compression Cylinder Kits meet or exceed OEM quality to quickly restore engine health while boosting power.
