The Shield MK2 jeans from Knox have it all! Single layer construction, exceptional durability and a CE Class AAA rating all packed into a stylish tapered jean that looks great on and off the bike. Knox's specially developed stretch denim features Ultra-High Molecular Weight Polyethylene (UHMWPE) fiber, which is one of the world’s strongest and lightest fibers – it's 40% stronger than aramid and fifteen times stronger than steel. This fiber also has properties that keep you comfortable by repelling moisture on the outside and pulling heat from the body on the inside. Not only is Micro-Lock knee and hip armor included for low-profile impact protection, but the knee features two invisible armor pockets with zipped external access for easy removal. Knox thoughtfully designed the Shield MK2 jeans inside and out to ensure a summer riding jean that is supremely wearable and exceptionally protective.
