Renthal R4-2 SRS 530 Self Regulating Seal Chain

The R4-2 chain from Renthal incorporates their SRS (self-regulating seal) system, greatly increasing chain life. With this system the seals are pre-loaded during assembly, creating a spring effect. As a chain wears, conventional O-rings and X-rings become loose over time allowing the seal to fail, whereas the SRS chains have the inherent ability to regulate a constant sealing pressure against the side plates throughout the life of the chain, retaining the vacuum injected grease inside the critical bush and pin wear areas. This equates to a 40% increase in chain life at no additional cost.
