XDR's "Hill-Killer" Magnum Grip Ratchet Shifter is designed to be used as a safety device when attempting steep hill climbs. With a Hill Killer Ratchet Shifter in place, the reverse lock-out feature of the ratchet gate plate is removed - allowing quick shifts from forward to reverse gear in an attempt to save the front-end from going over backwards when climbing steep hills. The spring loaded stainless steel trigger provides positive engagement while shifting gears, and the gate plate is constructed of heavy 10 gauge 304S stainless steel for durability and long life.

The Magnum grip shift handle features CNC billet aluminum construction, an ergonomic design for a modern aggressive look and is anodized black for durability and style. Replaceable midnight black polycarbonate side plates with a diamond texture give a sure grip in all weather conditions and can be swapped with different color inserts available from XDR (sold separately).
